Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged up by 0.01% at the start of trading on Sunday, adding 1.09 points to reach 10,655, compared to Thursday’s close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the index was supported by gains in Telecoms, which rose by 0.46%, Industrials with a 0.21% increase, and Real Estate, which edged up by 0.09%. In contrast, declines were recorded in several sectors, including Banks and Financial Services, which fell by 0.01%, Transportation by 0.06%, Insurance by 0.15%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.17%.
By 10:00 am, trading activity included 34.073 million shares exchanged in 2,426 transactions, with a total value of QR 70.830 million.
