QSE Index Experiences Slight Decline in Trading Session


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Wednesday with a slight decline, as the index fell by 5.84 points, or 0.06 percent, settling at 10,478.62 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, the session recorded a total trade of 179,472,395 shares, with the transaction value reaching QR 433,110,830.321. These trades were executed through 20,205 transactions spanning various sectors of the market.



Throughout the session, the stock performance was mixed, with 27 companies experiencing a rise in their share prices, 22 companies witnessing a decline, and four companies maintaining their previous closing prices without any change.



By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization registered a slight decrease, standing at QR 616,978,608,093.807, compared to QR 617,066,420,004.313 noted in the previous session.
