Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 19.33 points, or 0.19%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,323 points compared to the last closing. This increase was supported by positive performances in four key sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE figures showed that the Banks and Financial Services sector experienced a rise of 0.37%, while the Telecoms sector increased by 0.33%. Additionally, the Insurance sector grew by 0.19%, and the Industrials sector saw an uptick of 0.13%.
Conversely, other sectors experienced a decline in performance. The Consumer Goods and Services sector decreased by 0.01%, the Real Estate sector fell by 0.20%, and the Transportation sector dropped by 0.44%.
As of 10:00 am, the exchange witnessed the trading of 47.610 million shares across 3,760 transactions, with a total value of QR 111.295 million.
