Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 29.07 points, or 0.28%, at the start of trading on Monday, reaching 10,528 points compared to the last closing, backed by four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures showed a positive performance in the Transportation sector by 0.98%, Telecoms by 0.58%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.33%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.13%. Meanwhile, the Real Estate sector’s performance remained stable at 0.00 percent. However, a negative performance was observed in the Industrials sector by 0.19% and Insurance by 0.80%.
By 10:00 am, a total of 20.849 million shares were traded in 2,444 transactions, valued at QR 56.969 million.
