QSE Index Gains 39.22 at Start of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 0.37% at the start of trading on Sunday, adding 39.22 points to reach the level of 10,723 points, compared to the closing of the previous session, backed by six sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures attributed the rise in the general index to the positive performance of Industrials by 0.67%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.52%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.46%, Insurance by 0.21%, Real Estate by 0.03%, and Telecoms by 0.01%. Meanwhile, Transportation saw a negative performance by 0.08%.

At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,387 transactions worth QR 98.150 million, distributed over 47.530 million shares.
