QSE Index Loses 31.41 Points at Start of Trading

Doha, – The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 31.41 points, or 0.31%, at the beginning of Thursdays trading, to reach the level of 10,006.86 points compared to yesterday’s closing session, weighed down by five sectors.

The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in Transportation sector by 1.19%; Real Estate by 0.41%; Industrials by 0.39%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.33%; and Bank and Financial Services by 0.10%. Insurance and Telecoms rose by 1.58% and 0.42% respectively.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,028 transactions worth QR 57.775 million, distributed to 25.880 million shares.
