Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a rise of 0.27% at the beginning of Sunday's trading session, increasing by 26.46 points from the previous session's close, reaching 9,902 points. This uptick was supported by gains in six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, data from QSE indicated that the Real Estate sector led the gains with an increase of 0.66%, followed by Industrials at 0.55%, Transportation at 0.32%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.27%, Insurance at 0.24%, and Banks and Financial Services at 0.21%. In contrast, the Telecoms sector saw a decline of 0.59%.
By 10:00 am, the trading value on QSE was QR 64.804 million, with a total of 37.199 million shares exchanged through 3,158 transactions.
