Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a slight increase of 0.11% at the start of trading on Thursday, adding 12.05 points to reach 11,018. This rise comes in comparison to the previous session’s close, with support observed across most sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated positive movements in several sectors, though Industrials saw a decline of 0.10%. The Transportation sector increased by 0.27%, while both Banks and Financial Services and Telecoms showed growth of 0.22%. Insurance and Consumer Goods and Services sectors advanced by 0.13%, and Real Estate saw a marginal rise of 0.02%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 36.920 million, with 13.610 million shares traded across 2,294 transactions.
