QSE Index Opens Lower Amid Mixed Sector Performance

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 0.14% at the start of Tuesday's trading, losing 14.48 points to reach 10,252 points, under pressure from four sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed gains in the sectors of Transportation (+0.26%), Insurance (+0.20%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.12%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.15%), Telecoms (-0.25%), and Industrials (-0.50%).

At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 2,697 transactions worth QR 39.011 million, distributed across 15.880 million shares.
