QSE Index Opens Lower As All Sectors Feel Pressure

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened lower on Thursday, registering a decline of 78.58 points, or 0.71%, to reach 10,983 points from the previous session's close, with all sectors experiencing pressure.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market experienced declines across several sectors, including Consumer Goods and Services which fell by 0.07%, Telecoms by 0.36%, Insurance by 0.38%, Real Estate by 0.47%, Industrials by 0.51%, Transportation by 0.59%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.98%.

By 10:00 am, the trading turnover was reported at QAR 59.956 million, with a total of 31.337 million shares exchanged across 3,074 transactions.
