QSE Index Opens Lower with Broad Sector Declines

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index decreased by 61.92 points, or 0.63%, at the start of Wednesday's trading, reaching 9,790 points, under pressure from all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed declines across various sectors, including Industrials (-1.21%), Real Estate (-0.87%), Insurance (-0.71%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.46%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.43%), Transportation (-0.43%), and Telecoms (-0.36%).

By 10:00 am, the turnover was QR 46.385 million, with 22.373 million shares traded in 2,963 transactions, reflecting a widespread impact on trading activity.
