Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Monday, experiencing a decrease of 26.68 points, or 0.26 percent, to settle at 10,808.50 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 123,389,657 shares exchanged, valued at QAR 301,704,597.982, across 17,540 transactions involving all sectors. During the session, 17 companies witnessed an increase in their share prices, while shares of 30 companies declined. Meanwhile, five companies maintained their previous closing prices.
By the end of the trading session, market capitalization was recorded at QAR 647,126,360,868.060, compared to QAR 649,295,270,264.180 in the previous session.
