Doha: The QSE index began Thursday's trading session with a 0.20% increase, rising by 22.56 points to reach 11,361 points compared to the previous session's close. This rise was supported by gains in five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the figures from QSE indicated a positive performance in several sectors. The Telecoms sector rose by 0.47%, Transportation by 0.41%, Banks and Financial Services by 0.21%, Real Estate by 0.20%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.10%. Conversely, the Industrial sector experienced a decline of 0.16%, and the Insurance sector fell by 0.07%.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange reported 2,360 transactions, amounting to QAR 38.323 million. These transactions were spread over 17.855 million shares, indicating a robust start to the trading day.
