Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 19.21 points, or 0.18%, at the start of trading on Monday, reaching 10,659 points, compared to the last closing, backed by six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance in several sectors. Telecoms saw an increase of 0.63%, Consumer Goods and Services rose by 0.50%, Banks and Financial Services increased by 0.29%, Real Estate improved by 0.28%, Insurance grew by 0.22%, and Industrials saw a slight rise of 0.03%.
Conversely, the Transportation sector experienced a decline, with a negative performance of 0.20%. By 10:00 am, the market saw a total of 71.047 million shares traded in 5,118 transactions, with a total value of QR 136.415 million.
