QSE Index Rises 26.14 Points at Start of Trading

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Tuesday's trading by 0.23%, gaining 26.14 points to reach 11,348 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains across various sectors. Telecoms led the rise with a 1.15% increase, followed by Transportation at 0.85%, Real Estate at 0.44%, Insurance at 0.31%, Industrials at 0.19%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.05%, and Banks and Financial Services at 0.03%.

By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 56.965 million from 20.848 million shares traded across 4,167 transactions. The positive performance across all sectors indicates a strong start to the trading day.
