Kuwait city: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Sunday, recording an increase of 45.51 points, or 0.43 percent, to settle at 10,533.42 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 111,361,068 shares were exchanged through 17,145 transactions across all sectors. The total value of these transactions amounted to QAR 239,501,047.588.
The day saw prices of 34 companies' shares increase, while 17 others experienced declines, and two companies' shares remained unchanged. Market capitalization rose to QAR 627,580,991,082.532, compared with QAR 624,464,283,059.822 in the previous trading session.
