Riyadh Mayor Meets with Korean Officials to Discuss Cooperation in Urban Development

Mayor of Riyadh Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf met here today with Governor of Gyeonggi-do Province and head of International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) Korea Office Kim Dong-Yeon to discuss boosting cooperation in sustainable urban development. The meeting focused on sharing experience in municipal services, infrastructure, and environmental technology, and explored the possibility of collaboration between the Arab Urban Development Institute and ICLEI. Prince Faisal also met with Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok, with whom he discussed potential cooperation and reviewed experience in the field of smart cities. These meetings are part of a series of visits aimed at strengthening ties between Riyadh and Korean cities, and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various fields, including smart city development.
