Russia Says It Captured Town in Eastern Ukraine, Killing 1,085 Ukrainian Soldiers

Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense, Saturday, announced that its forces have taken control of the town of Bondarne, in eastern Ukraine.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that its forces managed to seize the town of Bondarne in the Donetsk region. It was noted that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian armed forces suffered losses exceeding 1,085 soldiers. Meanwhile, Russian troops continued their advance along all axes of the military operation zone in Ukraine.

The statement further added that Russian air defenses were successful in shooting down 124 Ukrainian drones. In addition, 15 guided bombs, launched using HIMARS missiles, were also intercepted.
