Zaporizhzhia:Ukrainian authorities announced that a Russian attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia resulted in two injuries. The attack also caused damage to several buildings and homes in the area.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that the strike was carried out by Russian forces. In addition to the injuries in Zaporizhzhia, an energy facility in the city of Khmelnytskyi was also damaged due to a separate Russian attack.
Since the beginning of the conflict, which has been ongoing since February 2022, both Russia and Ukraine have frequently reported repelling attacks from one another. These claims have not been independently verified due to the challenging conditions and continued hostilities in the region.
