Doha: Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, discussed Tuesday via phone expanding trade and investment relations between their two countries, including the implementation of major projects in the transportation and energy sectors. During the call, the two leaders reviewed issues related to continuing the development of Russian-Iranian cooperation based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty signed between the countries on January 17. They agreed to intensify joint efforts to strengthen practical cooperation and coordinate foreign policy.
