S. Korea and Trkiye Explore Military Cooperation Enhancement

Seoul: The top military officers of South Korea and Trkiye met in Seoul on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) in South Korea said. JCS Chairman Adm. Kim Myung-soo and his Turkish counterpart Gen. Metin Gurak engaged in discussions aimed at addressing regional security concerns.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions involved North Korea's nuclear and missile programs, reflecting the shared security interests between the two nations. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing potential threats in the region.

The two sides also explored measures to prepare for future combat scenarios. This included discussions on the coordination between manned and unmanned systems, highlighting a forward-thinking approach to modern military strategies.
