Saudi Foreign Minister Meets with his Syrian Counterpart

The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met in Cairo Wednesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Faisal Mekdad, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed developments in Gaza and its surroundings in light of the continuation of military operations, as well as a number of issues of common interest.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, and Director General of Foreign Minister's Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood attended the meeting.
