Makkah: Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) paramedics resuscitated an unconscious and not breathing Asian pilgrim at the Grand Mosque. SRCA Spokesperson for Hajj 1445 Hijri Dr. Youssef bin Mohammed Al-Safyan said that the authority received a report at 2:22 am yesterday, indicating a case of cardiac and respiratory arrest in the Sai area of the Grand Mosque. Paramedics found a man in his 70s lying on the ground unconscious, and started immediately to follow the medical protocol for such cases, performing CPR and using a defibrillator until the pulse of the man was restored.
