Doha: The main Saudi stock market index closed on Sunday down by 18.23 points, reaching 11,593.45 points, with trading valued at SR 3.2 billion. The volume of shares traded during the session amounted to 168 million shares, with 174 companies recording gains in their share prices, while 75 companies saw declines.
According to Qatar News Agency, the parallel Saudi stock index (Nomu) also closed lower, down 9.42 points to reach 25,039.36 points. Trading on the Nomu was valued at SR 27 million, with a total of over two million shares exchanged.
