Saudi Stock Market Index Sees Significant Gains


Riyadh: The main index of the Saudi stock market experienced a notable increase on Wednesday, climbing by 550.03 points to settle at 11,426.45 points. The day’s trading witnessed a substantial total volume of SR 14.4 billion.



According to Qatar News Agency, the trading activity involved 598 million shares, with stocks from 247 companies appreciating in value, whereas shares from 11 companies saw a decline.



Additionally, the parallel market index, known as Nomu, also recorded gains, rising by 308.68 points to reach 25,608.10 points. In this segment, the trading volume amounted to SR 40 million with over 6.6 million shares being exchanged.
