Gaza city: Several Palestinians were injured in Israeli shelling and gunfire Monday evening, targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip, in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that two people were injured by Israeli army fire in Al Sha'af Street, east of Gaza City, while other injuries were reported from Israeli army gunfire east of Al Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The sources indicated that one person was injured by Israeli drone fire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, while artillery shelling targeted Al Khansa School and its surroundings in the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Gaza City.
They said that Israeli bulldozers crossed the "yellow line," one of the ceasefire agreement lines, and carried out leveling operations near Sheikh Zayed roundabout, north of Gaza City.
In the same context, the Civil Defense reported recovering the remains of a martyr in the Tel Al Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Earlier Monday, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces near the barracks area north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
