Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, has expressed his congratulations to Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the United Arab Emirates Federal National Council (FNC), on the return of the Emirati astronaut Sultan Saif Al Neyadi to Earth after successfully completing the longest space mission in the history of Arabs for six months on the International Space Station (ISS).
Al Saleh affirmed that the participation of the Emirati astronaut in the space mission has highlighted the UAE's leading role in serving humanity through contributing to civil space exploration, noting that the UAE has made a qualitative step forward in space technology, which is a source of pride for Arab and Islamic nations.
He also congratulated Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bahrain.
