Riyadh: Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi met at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh with a delegation of women leaders from various sectors in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by Karen De Meyer.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Ahmadi highlighted the effective and influential development and the accelerated steps achieved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in various fields, including the empowerment of women and their active participation in the development process in Saudi Arabia. The empowerment also includes enhancing the leadership role of women in all global forums and regional and international conferences through their assumption of leadership positions at the internal and external levels.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to discussing several topics and issues of common interest.
