Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, held a meeting with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026 in Singapore.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on the latest security developments in the region. Both leaders explored potential avenues for joint cooperation and coordination amidst the current circumstances. HE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Singapore, Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki Al Juhani, was present during the meeting. The gathering also included senior officers and officials from both Singapore and Qatar, reflecting the significance of the dialogue between the two nations.
