Six Killed, Five Injured in Fire at Perfume Warehouse in Turkiye


Dilovasi: Six people were killed and five others wounded on Saturday in a fire that broke out at a perfume warehouse in the Dilovasi district in northwestern Turkiye, Turkish authorities said.



According to Qatar News Agency, Kocaeli Governor Ilhami Aktas confirmed that six people were killed in the fire, adding that one of the injured is in critical condition due to burns, while the other four are in stable condition and receiving treatment.



The cause of the fire remains unknown.



Located about 70 kilometers (43 miles) east of Istanbul, Dilovasi is home to numerous factories and storage sites.
