Cheongju: Six people were injured in a knife attack carried out by a disabled student at a high school in Cheongju, northern South Korea, today.
According to Qatar News Agency, the student attacked people at the school, resulting in injuries, including a teacher. The injuries ranged from minor to serious, with most of the injuries concentrated in the face and abdomen.
South Korean police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and motives of the incident.
The last stabbing incident in South Korea occurred in August 2023, when at least 10 people were injured in a stabbing incident near a subway station south of Seoul.
