Port sudan: Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman, General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met on Wednesday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. The meeting underscored the ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the conflict in Sudan.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted Egypt’s role in facilitating a resolution to the crisis through participation in international forums, including the Quad mechanism. The primary objective is to establish a humanitarian truce, enforce an immediate ceasefire, and initiate a Sudanese-led political process aimed at achieving long-term peace and stability.
Minister Abdelatty expressed Egypt’s unwavering support for Sudan, emphasizing its dedication to upholding the nation’s unity, security, and stability amidst the ongoing challenges.
