Daraa: An Israeli occupation force on Monday crossed into a village in the Yarmouk Basin area, west of Syria's Daraa Governorate, near the occupied Golan Heights.
According to Qatar News Agency, three Israeli military vehicles entered a short distance into the village of Maariya before later withdrawing.
Local sources said the occupation forces combed areas along Syria's southwestern border.
This incursion is the first of its kind in several months in the Yarmouk Basin area, which has periodically witnessed Israeli violations.
The Israeli occupation continues its assaults on Syrian territory in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law, and relevant United Nations resolutions. Syria has repeatedly condemned these attacks and called on the international community to take a firm stance to stop them.
