Tarsheed Unveils Second Edition of Professional Practices for Teachers as New School Year Begins

Doha: The Doha-based Tarshid Educational Publications (Tarsheed) has published the second edition of the book *Professional Practices for Teachers: Between Theory and Practice* to mark the start of the new school year.

According to Qatar News Agency, the book was authored by Dr. Rola Qubaisi, Dr. Aziz Rasmi, and Youssef Emhal. The book is divided into four main areas: teachers' professional development, classroom professional practices, development of classroom and school environment, and the use of technology in education.

The publication plays a significant role in enhancing teachers' professional development and in bridging the gap between educational theory and practice. It is designed to be a catalyst for educational success, aiding in the optimization of school performance and effectiveness within a safe and inclusive environment.

The book focuses on core pedagogical concepts, providing teachers with a comprehensive perspective on education. It supports both theoretical and practical knowledge in the educational sector, aiming to enhance student achievement and promote well-being.

Additionally, the book has been shortlisted for the Education and Teaching category of the inaugural Sheikh Yusuf bin Isa Book Prize (2025-2026) in Kuwait, highlighting its impact on advancing educational and professional practices for teachers.
