The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission has announced that Thaqafeyah Channel, the premier Saudi cultural channel, will organize the cultural program of the "Riyadh International Book Fair 2024", to be held from September 26 to October 5. More than 1,800 local and international publishing houses will take part in the fair, which will be accompanied by an array of activities, including lectures, workshops, and seminars. Authors and intellectuals from the Kingdom and beyond, and prominent local and regional names will also take part in panel sessions, including from the sports media, and a special event will be held to mark the Year of the Camel. The Riyadh International Book Fair will take place at King Saud University. Local, regional, and international publishing houses, cultural bodies, and institutions will offer the latest editions to the over one million expected visitors. The fair will include book-signing platforms, a large children's section, and supporting pavilions.
