Third Round of Longines Hathab Kicks Off Thursday in Qatar


Doha: The 3rd round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour (Longines Hathab) for the 2025-2026 season is set to begin Thursday. Organized by Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) in partnership with Al Shaqab, a member of the Qatar Foundation, the event spans 14 rounds across the QEF arenas and the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab.



According to Qatar News Agency, the third round will unfold over three days at the QEF Indoor Arena, with a strong turnout of top riders competing across the tournament’s diverse categories. The 9th Longines Hathab series began two weeks ago, featuring the first and second rounds.



The third round will open with the Amateur round at 100 cm, followed by the Bronze round for individuals and teams at 120 cm. On Friday, the competition continues with the Future Riders category for ages 6-12 at 70 cm, followed by the Open round at 110 cm, and culminating with the Gold round for individuals and teams at 140 cm.



Saturday will feature Dressage, followed by the Future Riders category for ages 12-16 at 90 cm, then the Silver round at 130 cm, and will wind up with the Diamond round at 150 cm. Longines Hathab stands as one of the nation’s superb domestic championships, designed to advance this kind of sport in Qatar.



It provides a world-class competitive platform for participants to sharpen their skills and capabilities, while also strengthening collaboration and partnerships among Qatar’s key equestrian institutions.
