Jerusalem: Approximately 40,000 Palestinians performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers Tuesday at the Al Aqsa Mosque compound.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate stated in a press release that around 40,000 worshippers performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers at the Al Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions and strict measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on the entry of worshippers.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces have intensified their military measures in and around Jerusalem, and at the gates of the Al Aqsa Mosque, to prevent worshippers from reaching the mosque. In recent days, they have also issued orders barring more than 300 Jerusalemites from entering the Al Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
