Transport Minister Concludes Official Visit to Cyprus

- Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser has concluded his official visit to the Republic of Cyprus. The visit was conducted with the aim of boosting cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, discussing establishing direct flights between the two countries, and reaching at a mutual recognition of seafarers' certificates. In the course of his visit, Al-Jasser met with Cypriot Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works Alexis Vafeades, and visited the Limassol Port to get familiarized with its operational and logistical capabilities, and to exchange knowledge and expertise that would help further develop the transport and logistics sector in the Kingdom. These endeavors are consistent with the Vision 2030 objective of positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics center. Source: Saudi Press Agency
