Turkish President and Dutch Prime Minister Address Bilateral and International Issues

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation today with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, focusing on bilateral relations and the enhancement of cooperation in several fields, particularly the defense industry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders also discussed a variety of regional and international issues. President Erdogan emphasized the importance of opposing the Israeli plan to occupy the Gaza Strip, highlighting the significance of maintaining regional stability and peace.

In relation to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, President Erdogan reiterated Turkiye's dedication to facilitating a resolution through a just and lasting peace. He affirmed Turkiye's readiness to continue hosting negotiations between the conflicting parties, a role it has previously fulfilled in Istanbul on three occasions.
