Turkish President and Libyan Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments


Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call Friday with Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity Abdulhamid Dbeibeh to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and address key regional developments of mutual concern. During the call, President Erdogan affirmed that Turkiye is closely monitoring developments in Libya and reiterated his country’s commitment to supporting security and stability in the region.



According to Qatar News Agency, Dbeibeh expressed appreciation for Turkiye’s supportive stance toward Libya’s path to stability and development. He emphasized his government’s keenness to deepen cooperation across various sectors in a manner that serves the interests of both nations.
