Russia: Two people were killed after a Ukrainian drone crashed into a private home in the Lipetsk region, sparking a fire, while another drone attack triggered a fire at a logistics center in the neighboring Tambov region.
According to Qatar News Agency, Lipetsk Governor Igor Artamonov reported that a fire broke out at a private residence after a drone crash, resulting in the deaths of a man and a 14-year-old boy. Two women were injured and are receiving medical treatment.
In the Tambov region, a Ukrainian drone attack led to a fire at a logistics center operated by the e-commerce company Wildberries, as stated by regional governor Yevgeny Pervyshov. The fire spread across an area of approximately 40,000 square meters.
Pervyshov mentioned that employees were evacuated from the logistics center after air-raid sirens were activated, but one worker sustained minor injuries. Additionally, a fire occurred at a private country house following a drone crash, with Russian air defenses reportedly shooting down 16 Ukrainian drones in the region overnight.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its air defense systems had intercepted 426 Ukrainian drones overnight across several regions. Both Russia and Ukraine have been reporting frequent drone attacks and battlefield developments since the conflict began in February 2022. These claims from both sides remain unverified due to the ongoing hostilities.
