The storm uprooted thousands of trees and damaged houses. Authorities have cautioned about continued heavy rainfall, floods, and landslides in northern Vietnam. The storm, which weakened from a formidable typhoon, has claimed the lives of at least seven individuals and left dozens injured since making landfall Saturday afternoon, as per preliminary assessments.
