UAE and Syria Presidents Engage in Talks to Enhance Bilateral Relations

Doha: President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan held a phone call today with Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa to discuss regional issues of mutual interest, foremost among them developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to strengthen security, stability, and peace across the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the two leaders also discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and expand cooperation, particularly in the fields of development, the economy, and investment, in support of the development priorities and mutual interests of both countries.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing UAE-Syria relations to broader horizons in a manner that contributes to the development and prosperity aspirations of both nations.
