Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced on Thursday that its air defense systems engaged incoming ballistic missiles and drones launched from Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry shared on X that the sounds heard are the result of the air defense systems intercepting missiles and drones.
The Emirati Ministry of Defense urged people to follow safety instructions and follow official channels for information.
