Doha: Director of the Council for Arab-British Understanding (CAABU) Chris Doyle affirmed the importance of the Qatar-UK Strategic Dialogue, in light of the massive evolutions unfolding in the Middle East region. Doyle stated to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that this dialogue between the two nations holds significant importance given the threats facing the international rules-based order, stressing that it is imperative for major powers to collaborate and explore solutions.
According to Qatar News Agency, it is of paramount importance for nations to build a long-term strategic relationship similar to the Qatar-UK Strategic Dialogue, which is now being convened, Doyle highlighted. He stressed that he is confident this dialogue would herald a major breakthrough in an array of issues such as security, economy, and cooperation on environmental issues, which should be given foremost priority.
In addition, Doyle pointed out that this dialogue would strengthen the strategic relationship between the two countries.
