Ukraine Delegation to Hold Talks with Russia in Turkiye on Monday: Zelenskyy


Istanbul: An Ukrainian delegation will hold peace talks with Russia in Turkiye’s Istanbul on Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Sunday. Zelenskyy stated that the delegation, led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, aims for a “full and unconditional ceasefire, the return of the prisoners” and “the return of abducted children.”



According to Qatar News Agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced Saturday that Moscow is ready to hold a second round of talks with Ukraine in Istanbul on Monday. Istanbul previously hosted peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on May 15 and 16, which concluded with an agreement to exchange 2,000 prisoners between the two countries.
