Doha: The Ukrainian army announced Sunday that the number of Russian soldiers killed and wounded since the beginning of the war has risen to approximately 932,670, including 1,220 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
According to Qatar News Agency, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated in a statement that its forces destroyed 10,603 tanks, 22,088 armored combat vehicles, 26,163 artillery systems, and 1,128 air defense systems. It added that 370 aircraft, 335 helicopters, 32,425 drones, 3,145 cruise missiles, 28 warships, one submarine, 43,950 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,799 units of special equipment were also destroyed.
Since the outbreak of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, there have been conflicting reports about the extent of losses suffered by both sides in the conflict, with each side claiming to have inflicted heavy losses on the other.
