Ukrainian and French Presidents Discuss Ukraine’s Military Needs


Kyiv: During a phone call held Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed that the former will provide France with a list of Ukraine’s priority needs, including air defense systems and missiles. The conversation highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Ukrainian President expressed concerns that Russia is benefiting from the current situation, as the Middle East is receiving significant attention. Zelenskyy condemned Russian strikes on Ukraine and discussed with President Macron potential responses to these actions.



The Ukrainian President noted that over the past week, more than 3,100 drones, 92 missiles, and around 1,360 shells were launched at Ukraine, underscoring the intensity of the conflict and the urgent need for military support.
