Geneva: HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani, engaged in high-level discussions with her Philippine counterpart, HE Undersecretary of Labour, Jainal T. Rasul Jr., on the sidelines of the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva. The meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing cooperation between Qatar and the Philippines in the field of labour.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two undersecretaries centered on supporting and strengthening bilateral relations in various labour sector fields. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both nations to improve and deepen their collaborative efforts in addressing shared labour-related interests.
Additionally, Her Excellency held discussions with Kelsey Goodman, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Region at the World Economic Forum. They explored topics of mutual interest and discussed potential avenues for developing cooperation between Qatar and the World Economic Forum, particularly in the Future of Jobs Program. The discussions aimed at fostering a supportive working environment and enhancing partnerships with international organizations.
