Bern: HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani, along with Assistant Undersecretary for Migrant Labour Affairs Hamad Faraj Dalmouk and other delegates, engaged in discussions with senior officials of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) on Thursday. The meeting was attended by HE Assistant Director General and Head of Thematic Cooperation at SDC Ambassador Christian Frutiger and HE Deputy Director of the Labour Directorate at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) Dr. Valerie Berset.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on finalizing the specifics of a joint work plan between Qatar and Switzerland. Discussions centered on enhancing labour-sector cooperation and increasing the exchange of technical expertise between the two countries.
